We bring our private cocktail classes to homes, offices, and event venues throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Whether you're planning a team-building event, birthday celebration, girls' night, holiday party, or private gathering, we'll bring everything needed for an unforgettable mixology experience!
No experience necessary—just gather your favorite people and we'll take care of the rest.
What’s included?
✔ Guided instruction for 3 handcrafted cocktails
✔ A curated cocktail menu chosen before your event
✔ Individual cocktail set up for each guest (glassware, shaker, etc.)
✔ Fresh mixers, garnishes, ice, and supplies
✔ Recipe cards so you can recreate your favorites
Alcohol is not included in the price; however, we will provide assistance with alcohol calculation and a shopping list.
MINIMUM of 8 guests for cocktail classes. Must be 21 to participate.

Our cocktail classes are hosted at your home, office, or event venue throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. We bring the equipment, and instruction—you simply provide the space and gather your guests.

Our cocktail class lasts for about 2 hours. We’ll take a quick break between cocktails so that guests can mingle and enjoy. We recommend having some light apps or bites for guests to enjoy.

Three drinks per guest. This can be structured in two ways: Either, the bartender will create a welcome cocktail for guests to enjoy upon arrival (then guests will make two in class), or all three beverages are taught and made in class!

Yes, during the planning process we will recommend seasonal cocktails, discuss your favorite drinks to create your cocktail class menu. Mocktails ARE available too.

Just two things: the space and the alcohol.
For legal compliance, The Bitty Bar operates as a dry-hire service, meaning the host provides the alcohol. Don't worry—we'll make it easy by providing a simple shopping list with the recommended quantities for your selected cocktails.
We'll take care of the rest, including mixers, house-made syrups, garnishes, ice, cups, bar tools, and everything needed to create a seamless cocktail class.

Every cocktail class is led by one of The Bitty Bar's co-owners, Erica or Katie, so you'll always be learning from someone who knows the craft—and loves sharing it.
Together, we've spent years in the mobile beverage industry creating memorable experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Erica brings nearly a decade of professional bartending experience, a passion for crafting cocktails, and the energy to confidently lead groups of all sizes. Katie combines years of event experience with her background as an educator, creating classes that are organized, engaging, and approachable for everyone.
